Rhymes with Pizza Nails

Nail artist toronto
I rarely ever have my nails done (bad habit, I know) but I recently got them done by Toronto nail artist and super sweetheart, Milica, at her home studio. Trust me, the girl is crazy talented. Check out her Instagram page to see the seriously awesome Spice Girls design she had on while she was doing mine. I couldn’t decide between little eye lashes, colour blocking, or a gold specks look so Milica combined all three into one super modern, super cute nail design! If you’re in the city, I highly recommend booking an appointment with her and she’ll give you a happy little design you won’t be able to stop obsessing over.

The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way to Live Well

I don’t know what planet I, as a lifestyle blogger, have been on that I’ve only discovered the concept of “Hygge” until now.  A friend introduced me to this little book and now I’ve been seeing Hygge every where! Hygge (pronounced hooga) is a Danish concept and way of life that is pretty much the epitome of coziness. It’s written by Meik Wiking, the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen and I am so excited to start implementing Hygge practices into my every day life. Also probably because Copenhagen is my favourite city ever (catch my travel vlog here). But whatever all those insanely hot and happy people are doing in Denmark is probably  the right thing!

Spring is one of the most exciting times of year where the air no longer hurts your face and the promise of sun kissed skin and starry nights are just around the corner! I’ve curated my top favourite songs of the moment that put me in an amazing mood! With happy beats from artists like John Mayor and J Cole, to a few more sensual tunes from hot underground artists like Noita, this playlist will be on repeat all spring! Am I missing any thing? Comment below what you’re listening to this season.
